Description:

Design and development of a pneumatic pick-and-place cell to install ferrites.
The cell uses a Spirol bowl feeder with a gravity supply hopper and a 2-1/2 axis pneumatic actuator. The pneumatic actuator is built from AFAG precision components, and features a 1/2-axis adjustment slide on the gripper. The adjustment slide allows the pick and place positions to be set independently, without moving any other tooling. |
