Design and development of an robotic cell to pick & place porous sheet materials.

The cell uses a Seiko SCARA robot with a high-flow vacuum gripper.  The sheets are taken directly from their corrugate shipping containers. A separator sheet, required for the pick from the container, is automatically stripped from the sheet.  The sheet is then registered and placed onto the airbag assembly.
