Project:
Prosthetic Foot Molding System
Company:
M+IND
Description:
A rotary mold handling and injection system for prosthetic feet.

Eighteen flame-sprayed molds are mounted onto a rotary table, which carries them past the filling head.  The molds are first filled with polyurethane foam, and allowed to cure.  Once cured, the molds are carried past an opening station, where the mold top is lifted to expose the foot.  The foot is then removed by the operator.
